All the information you need to travel to Cape Town can be found below, including flights, hotels, accommodations, travel agents, and more! Visit the FAQ section for even more details.
For those of you traveling, thank you for making the long journey to come celebrate with us, we truly appreciate it! ❤️
There are 2 main options for getting to Cape Town from the USA:
Connect through Europe (London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt) and fly directly to Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
Fly directly to Johannesburg Airport (JNB) from NYC, DC or Atlanta, and then take a connecting flight to CPT.
If you fly through JNB, you could always stay a few days and go on Safari before you head down to the Mother City (Cape Town).
Flights ✈️ typically range around $700-$1000 from the US, which is why we are giving you plenty of notice before booking. If you are able to make all of the hosted events, you should ideally arrive on Sunday, 11/17, so you have time to settle before the first event.
If you’d like to book through our travel agent, see her details below.
Group rates will be available at a few hotels 🏨. If hotels aren't your thing, feel free to book an Airbnb below! Check out what neighborhoods we recommend on our FAQ page.
We will provide more information on accommodations in this section, once available! If you’d like to book through our travel agent, see her details below.
We will be arranging transportation 🚌 for all of the events hosted outside of the Cape Town city center! If you plan on exploring the city outside of the hosted events (and we encourage you to!) there are a few options:
Ubers 🚘 are super reliable and accessible in Cape Town! You can find them easily available once you land in CPT. They are also an affordable way to get around with a 15-minute ride usually costing no more than a few dollars.
It is also easy to rent a car 🚗 in Cape Town. You can arrange to rent a car from CPT before you arrive. Many car rental companies also operate in the Cape Town city center. Keep in mind in South Africa, they drive on the left-hand side of the road, and their cars – rental cars included – are right-hand drive vehicles.
We are working with a wonderful travel agent 👩🏻💼 based in New York, Patricia Serrano. She specializes in travel to South Africa and can help book your hotels, flights, tours, visas, recommendations, and more! If you’re not comfortable booking on your own, feel free to reach out to her via e-mail or phone for help:

Cape Town has a Mediterranean-style climate: wet and cool winters, dry and warm summers. November is the end of the spring season ☀️ and the unofficial start to the summer season.
